My name is Joy and I’ve been a nurse for 15 years. I started my journey as a birth worker 20 years ago, when I was asked to join my roommate at her niece’s grand debut into this world. As some cultures say, “you can come into this work through your lineage or by way of mysticism.” I happened to be in the right place at the right time, and was ushered into a role I didn’t expect. I became the birth support and the birth photographer without any hesitation. Ever since, I have been on this journey to serve women in a traditional role. As a nurse my ultimate goal is to become a midwife but in the meantime, I want to continue to provide hands on, compassionate care to women. We look forward to working with you and your family.
